  We have had our new wood-burning stove in operation for several weeks now and are delighted. Richard himself came personally to survey our living room and chimney. The work involved taking out a old fireplace, installing a new lintel to form an enlarged opening, re-plastering the disturbed plasterwork and building a new tiled hearth before installing the stove and the oak shelf. His workmen arrived on schedule on successive days and carried out the work with skill and care. One item needed to be corrected after completion (the flue was slightly out of vertical) and they returned within a couple of days and swiftly corrected it. They also left us with logs, kindling and gloves. After each visit Richard rang us for feedback and to check that all was well. We would unreservedly recommend Hudsons Stoves to anyone buying a new stove.
